Why we do it like this...

Our belief is that clothes should be bought thoughtfully and worn extensively.

We use a number of different methods for creating our designs, including using cut paper to transfer designs to fabric. It’s the oldest and simplest of printing methods that also means designs are limited to a very few reproductions.

Form&Sea T-Shirts are always printed by hand. There is no ‘automatic-ness’. This introduces variability and uniqueness to every product. No two can ever be quite the same.

Our designs will fade and don’t crack like so many cheaply-produced shirts on the market today. This is deliberate. Like the shirts we bought and wore as a kids in Cornwall - when T-Shirts were made to last and were sold at a price that reflected the work that went into them - Tristan and Cleo want Form&Sea T-Shirts to become much-loved staples in our customers’ wardrobes.

Fewer clothes, produced to be scarce, gives you the opportunity to buy products that reflect your personality and values.
